As a visual merchandising consultant, I supported AVA in developing their VM strategy, providing strategic guidance across both brand and store level.

The project began with providing the board and management with visual merchandising training.
It evolved into a long-term collaboration where we worked on store capacity planning, shop layout design, brand identity integration, maintaining consistency, creating a distinctive shopping experience, developing marketing and point-of-sale materials, and driving customer diversification.


AVA, a Belgian specialty retailer with over 50 stores, known for its wide range of paper goods, party supplies, office materials, and hobby items.

Challenge:
Improve stock rotation, product organization, and store capacity use.
Shift from budget-driven buying to capacity-driven planning.
Approach:
Created detailed store grids to understand true floor capacity.
Used insights to overhaul purchasing strategy.
Enhanced product presentation through visual merchandising principles.
