Kipling produces lightweight bags that brings you to new destinations. As the global VM manager, my goals were to develop the visual merchandising strategy for 2020, for owned stores, shop-in-shops and wholesale. The role was part of the global marketing team. I managed a team in Europe, based on HQ and a virtual team globally.
We developed window concepts based on the marketing campaigns. We designed the look & feel, created 3D renderings with the seasonal key products and developed the POS materials with external companies.
With the VM department we supported all retail marketing campaigns from owned stores to wholesale, from developing POS materials to setting up the campaigns by the team themselves.
And we managed new store openings from installing the hardware to merchandising the products to training the store teams on VM guidelines.
Alongside project was rolling out the new store concept 2.0 with the global project manager. Refining the concept to ensure products are presented in its best light and adjusting the concept to the new or existing spaces.
