As consultant I was responsible for managing and installing the campaigns in the village. And my role was to develop a visual merchandising strategy to elevate the product presentation and communication in the village.
For the campaigns, we received the deck from Value Retail and planned how to roll it out in our village. This meant designing the open area’s of the village and also agree (& convince) the brands to integrate the campaign in their windows. The goal was to create a breathtaking experience for the customers who visited the village. This could look like having huge flowers in bright colors on the facade of stores during summer or a fairytale atmosphere during christmas.
The planning involved close communication with the sales team and marketing department as well as with logistics who helped installing the campaigns. Christmas was the most challenging but also most dazzling campaign at the village.
